Editor’s note: August was a memorable month for the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce. On Thursday, the Chamber issued this press release celebrating the staff’s recent anniversaries and promotions.

Ten years ago, July Danley began serving in her role as president/CEO.

July was recognized among her peers at the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives Conference with the 10 Year Tenure Award and was recently named one of the Top 25 Women to Watch in North Texas by the Better Business Bureau for outstanding leadership, influence, community service and professional achievements.

As CEO, July has promoted over 600 Chamber member businesses, led economic development efforts, organized community events, increased tourism, developed leadership programs, and encouraged volunteerism with joy and purpose.

Jennifer Grandpre celebrates five years, as she joined the Chamber team in August of 2011. After earning a degree in hotel and restaurant administration from OSU and serving over 15 years in the hospitality industry in various management roles, Jennifer moved to Stephenville and brought her customer service background and enthusiasm to the Chamber team. With valuable experience in all aspects of Chamber operations over the past five years and an intense desire for building relationships and helping businesses flourish, Jennifer has been promoted to vicepresident of member services.

Molly Self joined the Chamber team two years ago as first impressions director.

A Stephenville native, Molly earned a bachelor of science degree from Tarleton State University in public relations & event management and looks forward to applying those skills and strategies learned as she takes on a new role as programs and events coordinator.

Brittney Culhane started serving the Chamber as a part-time assistant in August 2014 and plays a vital role in keeping the office organized and serving our members and visitors cheerfully and efficiently. Always willing and eager to take on additional responsibilities, Brittney will continue to serve the Chamber and community in her new role as member and visitor services specialist.

Along with anniversaries and promotions, the Chamber also celebrated a new addition to the team in August. Lindsay Black has been hired as the Chamber’s new marketing and tourism coordinator.
