DALLAS (AP) — Authorities say a person being treated by medics in Dallas after an accident has been arrested after jumping into the ambulance and then crashing it into a building.
Dallas Fire-Rescue said the incident happened Tuesday morning. Officials said no one was injured in the building, which was about a mile away from the first incident.
Officials said the man who took the ambulance was taken into custody by police after the crash but was then taken to a hospital. Police said he had minor injuries.
Fire officials say the ambulance had severe front-end damage and had to be removed from service.
