In observance of Independence Day, Tarleton State University will be closed on Monday, July 4, including the offices of all non-essential services on the main campus in Stephenville.
The Dick Smith Library on the Stephenville campus will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 1 to 10 p.m. Sunday, but will be closed all day July 4. The library will resume normal operating hours at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 5.
Tarleton’s Recreational Sports Center will be closed on Monday, July 4, and resume normal operations at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The Barry B. Thompson Student Center will be closed all day July 4, and re-open for regular business hours at 7 a.m., Tuesday, July 5.
Tarleton Dining Services has announced that all retail locations, including the Barry B. Thompson Student Center’s Texan Star Food Court, Study Grounds Café in the library, and the C-Store store in the dining hall will be closed all day Monday, July 4. All dining services locations will be closed Monday in observance of Independence Day. The Dining Hall will resume summer hours of operation on Tuesday. The Texan Star Food Court will be closed beginning Friday, July 1, through July 10, and reopen on Monday, July 11.
Tarleton’s parking office will close at 5 p.m. Friday, but university police will continue regular patrol shifts throughout the holiday weekend. In the event of a campus emergency during the holiday weekend, call 254-968-9265 or 9-1-1.
