DENVER, Colo. - As TexAnn Golf prepares for the NCAA National Championship in Aurora, Colorado this week, three members from No. 7-ranked Tarleton were named to the All-Region team by the Women's Golf Coaches Association.

Isabel Jimenez-Perea, Casey Wild, and Beatriz Prados were selected as the best in the West Region this season. The All-Region teams consist of the top 10 players in each region and are selected by the WGCA Division II Awards Committee, with the winner of each regional tournament receiving an automatic selection.

Jimenez-Perea won the regional tournament for the second time in her career while setting a new school record for lowest score at a regional with 210 (-6) in the three-round match. The 4-time Lone Star Conference Player of the Year is the No. 1-ranked player in the nation for NCAA Division II with a 72.91 scoring average, according to Jimenez-Perea has three tournament wins and has ten top-10 finishes this season.

Wild, the No. 8-ranked player in the nation with a scoring average of 74.61, was a first-team All-LSC selection and also the LSC Academic Player of the Year. Wild has one tournament win and finished in the top ten seven times.

Prados, ranked No. 16 in the nation, has a scoring average of 75 and has won one tournament along with four top-10 finishes on the year. Prados was a first-team All-LSC selection for the second straight season.

The TexAnns are coming off their ninth regional championship and will compete for a national championship in a four-round tournament at the CommonGround Golf Course in Aurora, Colo. on Wednesday, May 18.
