Get ready for an evening filled with laughter, food and men in dresses, all while raising funds for a good cause at the Stephenville High School 2016 Project Graduation’s ‘Cinderfella’ pageant.

The event will kick off with a $5 home-cooked spaghetti dinner at 6 p.m. and the show—$5 per ticket—will begin at 7 p.m. in the Faith Lutheran Church gym. All proceeds from the event go toward the high school seniors’ Project Graduation trip.

The senior pageant contestants are, Noble Alexander, Conner McKinzie, Josh Nowell, Mason Yoes, Kendall Williams, Riley Forehand, Malachi Taylor and Pedro Manrriquez.

“The boys will all come on stage and they are going to perform an opening number. There will be a little dancing, a little feather fan action and some high kicks,” Kelly Sult, Project Graduation co-chair, said. “They will be introduced to the crowd with their stage name and then they will go back and change and each boy will perform a talent.”

A sneak peek into those talents include a rendition of the popular Disney song ‘Let it Go’ from Frozen and some yo-yo and yodeling action simultaneously.

“We will also have an opportunity for the fans to vote for their favorites. There will be containers next to each boy’s photo where they can drop in their votes,” Sult said. “Then they will come out in evening wear, all dolled up, and participate in an interview session.”

A panel of four judges will ultimately decide the winner and first and second runner up who will receive trophies, medals and other fun prizes.

“Each boy has had a group of stylists who have been helping them out scouring the town finding dresses, shoes and more,” Sult said.

Tickets can be purchased at Stephenville High School in the office or through the contestants and senior students, but can also be purchased the at the door the night of the show.

“They really have worked hard and they’re putting it all out there on the line,” Sult said. “Those kids have to be pretty brave to get up there and I just want it to be a successful fundraiser.”
