This week’s featured pets from the Erath County Humane Society are Bogey and Katie.

Bogey is a lab mix that is neutered and Katie is a German shepard mix that is spayed. Both are about four years old, weigh between 70 and 80 pounds and are housebroken.

They are current on all their vaccines including their rattle snake vaccine and upon adoption will come with all records and heart worm medication.

They were surrendered to the ECHS on March 16th by their owner due to a health issue that left the owner unable to tend for the pair. Being that they came in together, and are very bonded, the ECHS would like to adopt them out to their forever home as a pair.

“They’re really sweet and great with kids, dogs, cats and livestock. They would make great family dogs,” Kallie Burns, SPD animal services officer, said.

For more information about Bogey and Katie or any other adoptable pets contact the ECHS at (254) 965-3247 or find them on Facebook. Currently the ECHS is housing 20 cats and 68 dogs.
