This easy and delicious recipe is perfect for a fall gathering. It comes straight from my Mema's recipe box. There was rarely a time that she didn't have this cake in her metal cake pan on the table just waiting for company.
It’s not too sweet and is as moist as any cake you will ever try. It's a family recipe enjoyed by several generations. Enjoy!
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon cloves
Pinch of salt
Add and beat with electric mixer: 1 cup oil
2 cups buttermilk with tsp soda in each cup
Bake 325 degrees for 40 minutes.
