The Bosque River chapter of Daughters of the Republic of Texas enjoyed an excellent program at the November meeting. Frank Sharp talked about the official state of Texas Longhorn herd. The home of this beautiful herd is Fort Griffin. The Texas historical commission and the Texas parks and wildlife department work to preserve genetically pure Texas Longhorns.
