Dana Strickland, 57, of De Leon, passed away at her home Friday December 2, 2022. Arrangements are with Heartland Funeral Home of Comanche. A memorial will be held at a later date. Dana Denise Alexander was born March 17, 1965, in San Bernardino, California, to Darrel Roy and Mary Elizabeth (Trawick) Alexander. She worked as a Cosmetologist, was a lover of animals, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. Dana is survived by daughter Ashley Causey; sons, Clinton Shoemaker and Corey Shoemaker; grandchildren, Cameron Spruill, Audrey Spruill, Dillon Swindel, Liam Causey, Roslyn Causey, Kamryn Shoemaker, and Fallon Shoemaker; sisters, Joliva Savage and Desiree Hubbard; and stepfather, Raul Perez. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Darrel Alexander and Mary Trawick Perez, and sister, Gina Kitchens.
