Rev. Glenn Shock, pastor of Valley Grove Baptist Church, was one of more than 50 locals arrested and placed behind bars yesterday for the Jail & Bail Fundraiser benefiting Cross Timbers Family Services. Outrageous “warrants” were issued and served to individuals across town who were then hauled to “jail” at Grumps Restaurant. Below, volunteer “judge” Eric Williams (center) and the staff of Cross Timbers Family Services, welcomes the accused to their makeshift jail. Pictured are (l-r) SPD officer, Amanda Miller, CTFS service coordinator Jewel West, CTFS director Jodee Lucero, “Judge” Williams, CTFS community development coordinator Taysha Williams and CTFS intern Laura Clendennen. A complete list of those temporarily placed into jail and their “charges” will appear in the Sunday edition of the E-T.
