Cider is a 3-year-old female domestic shorthair. She is friendly, but a little standoffish. She allows pets, but will usually ignore people instead of going near you for attention. She hisses when you first start petting her but she really doesn’t act with aggression toward people once she gets used to your touch. We believe she would do well in a quiet home or as a barn or shop cat. Cider is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She has been at ECHS since October 2022. Scuba is a 1-year-old male Shar-Pei Pit mix. He is a super-friendly kid that loves to lean on you for attention. He is still learning to walk on a leash, but he is picking it up very well. He has lived with several other dogs and has done well, but a meet and greet is always recommended. He sniffed at the cats in their kennels and did not have any negative reactions. He does tend to whine while in his kennel. We do not know if he is house trained or crate trained yet.
