It's like the wind. You can't touch love or hold it in your hand. Yet, it wraps itself around you and won't let go. It changes you and hopefully makes you a better person. Love is an instrument of God's peace and the hope for a dying and crazy world.

I recently went into a restaurant and as I was seated, I noticed a lady finishing her meal. The unusual thing about the lady being in the restaurant was the fact that a beautiful golden retriever dog lay at her feet.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention the 400-plus people who reached out to me on social media, text messages, and phone calls regarding the passing of my beautiful Daisy, who I found on the street when she was a starving puppy. Grief is often replaced by fond memories that other people remind us of in our time of hurt.
