Empire-Tribune staff Gordon Center hosting free screening of ‘Dumbo’ Come on out for a free showing of the 1941 classic animated film “Dumbo” at the W.K Gordon Museum, 65258 I-20 Mingus, on Saturday, Aug. 27.

Nyla
Nyla is a 3 - to 4 - year - old female Shepherd mix. She acts aggressive in her kennel to new people, but she is friendly when taken out of her kennel. She is a little more timid toward men than women but once she gets to know you, she will wiggle her whole butt when you talk to her. She walks well on a leash and loves treats and toys. It is recommended that she not be adopted into a home with children due to her nervous behavior. She does not do will with other dogs or cats. She does fairly well in a crate. Nyla is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention. She has been with us since 7/12/2021. The Mary Kay Ash Foundation, a philanthropic leader with a mission to end gender-based and domestic violence, announced today its continued sponsorship of the 17 th annual Conference on Crimes Against Women (CCAW). Taking place from May 23–26 in Dallas, CCAW is the only national conference that addresses crimes against women with a multi-disciplinary focus that encourages a coordinated community response.

Ecuador is a 1-year-old male domestic shorthair. He is a very friendly boy that does well with other cats and dogs. He is friendly with new people and does well with children. He loves looking out windows and has a bad habit of playing with blinds. He is microchipped and litterbox trained.
