Rosie

Rosie is a 2- to 3-year-old female Shepherd/ Husky mix. She is a very timid girl that needs someone with a quiet home and gentle touch. She was very scared when she got here but has never shown any aggression. She has warmed up substantially, but is still afraid of new people. She is really a one person type of dog and may need to be crated or put in another room when visitors are in her home. Rosie just takes a little more time to come around than most dogs. Potential adopters need to understand that she is more shy and nervous than the average dog and will need more one on one time than most dogs. She loves to initiate play with other dogs and once she is used to her person she will play with them as well! Hesitant on a leash because of all the barking dogs here, but walks well. Rosie is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention. For more information or to

So not only did he have to learn a new department, he also had to learn the laws for a whole new state.
