Zora has had a rough, short life so far. She was originally sent to a rescue where she was adopted out, and was found as a stray twice. The first time, she was covered in fleas and slightly underweight. The second time, she was skin and bones and had very clearly finished weaning a litter of puppies. Even though people have let her down, she is one of the most loveable and happy dogs. She has been out with other dogs and loves to play and get them to chase her. She walks very well on a leash. She does very well in her kennel, and really only potties if she eats dinner and doesn’t have a chance to go back out until the morning. Zora has received her DHPP and Bordetella vaccinations, is microchipped, and heartworm negative and on prevention. The adopter is required to bring Zora back on one of our spay-neuter days to have her spayed if adopted out before it has been done. For more information or to adopt Zora, contact the Erath County Humane Society at (254) 965-3247.
