DOG OF THE WEEK: TRUCKER

Trucker is a 4-year-old male German Shepherd Husky mix. He is a very big goofy boy weighing in at 95 pounds. He loves being outside and hates being cooped up. He is super friendly and very independent. He likes to roam and can get out of our 6-foot chain link fences. He actually escaped and went on an adventure. The person that found him said he rode with him on the Gator, went out and fed the cows with him and then he just hung out in the yard when the finder went in the house. He came in with another dog and is believed to be dog friendly. Not sure about cats and other small animals. He is definitely not an apartment dog. He is very vocal and will tell you when he wants attention. Trucker has been neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and on prevention. For more information or to adopt Trucker, contact the Erath County Humane Society at (254) 965-3247 or via Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/erathcountyhumansociety
