H-E-B is celebrating 25 years of serving the Stephenville community with an anniversary event on Saturday from 1-5 p.m.

H-E-B first opened its doors in Stephenville in 1991 and will mark this special occasion with fun activities and generous donations to the community.

H-E-B shoppers who attend the anniversary event Saturday can expect fantastic drawings, prizes and giveaways, special offers, food samples, kids games and activities, an appearance by
H-E-Buddy, and may also enjoy a celebratory slice of cake!

In honor of the occasion, Mayor Pro Tem Alan Nix will offer words of gratitude for H-E-B’s continued community support.

Following his proclamation, H-E-B will present a $2,500 donation to the Erath County Humane Society in addition to five pallets of pet food. H-E-B will also present the Foster’s Home for Children a $2,500 donation, which will be used to supply a computer and essential household items to the organization.

H-E-B is proud to recognize three Partners (employees) who have served the Stephenville community since the store’s opening 25 years ago: Cathy Becker, Deli Manager; Jack Caves, Meat Cutter; and Donna Isensee, Shelf Edge Manager. During the event, each Partner will be honored for their dedication to the H-E-B family.

“H-E-B is thrilled to celebrate this important milestone anniversary with the Stephenville community and looks forward to the many wonderful years to come,” said Casie McCauley, Stephenville H-E-B Unit Director.
