1. 46th annual Cowboy Capital of the World PRCA Rodeo

Itís back! The 46th annual Cowboy Capital of the World PRCA Rodeo will kick off at Lone Star Arena at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and at 2 p.m. Sunday. American Hero Night, honoring those whoíve served, will be Fridayís theme; Itís Gonna Get Western, will be Saturdayís theme; and Sunday will feature future stars of Pro Rodeo High School Champions Showdown and crowning of the Cowboy Capital of the World Rodeo Royalty. 2. 5th annual Museum Motorcycle Fun Run

Hop on your motorcycle and show support for the Stephenville Historical House Museum at the 5th annual Museum Motorcycle Fun Run starting at 8:30 a.m. with registration, coffee and donuts. The event is $20 per bike and all proceeds will go toward the Oxford House Preservation Project. Lunch will also be provided. For more information call 254-485-5886 or 254-485-0102.

3. Trash to Treasure fundraiser benefiting SFKA

Donate your gently used books, clothing and other household goods from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at the Trash to Treasure fundraiser event benefiting Stephenville Faith Knights Athletics in the Cowboy Capital Insurance parking lot. The items will be donated to Goodwill and for a list of accepted and unaccepted items visit the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce calendar, or call 404-625-6604.

4. PRCA contestant meet and greet event

Come out to Capital Hatters at 10 a.m. Saturday for the PRCA contestant meet and greet event. Chuckwagon food will be available and live music will be provided by Zach Edwards.

5. Benefit for Shirley Febinger at Faith Lutheran Church

Come support Shirley Febinger, longtime church member who suffered a stroke, at a benefit hosted by Faith Lutheran Church from 3-6 p.m. Sunday. Food, a silent auction, live music, a bounce house and more will be available. Proceeds will go toward Febingerís rising medical expenses. For more information call 254-968-2710.
