The Henderson Junior High track record book had to be rewritten this season as one hurdler finished the season strong and on top.

7th grader Ciara Johnston broke the record in the 300m hurdles after recording a super quick time of 50.74. The previous record was held by Mikayla Hobbs who ran a 51.11.

Johnston not only broke the school record but went on to claim district titles in both the 300m and 100m hurdle events.
