If you’re looking to hit the links this summer and also help benefit a local athletic booster club than look no further as the annual Dublin Athletic Booster Club Golf Tournament returns for its fourth year.

The annual event will once again be a four man scramble with an 8 a.m. shotgun start on Friday, June 12

“We started this event a couple of years ago and it’s always been a great time because it’s great fellowship out there and everyone gets to hang out and talk some sports and enjoy the day,” said Bob Cervetto, Dublin's athletic director. “It’s overall a great communication tool between the coaches and the community.”

The entry fee is $50 per person and the fee will cover the golfer’s green fee, cart rental and lunch.

“When we started this even we weren’t real sure what to expect, but each year it's gotten better and better,” Cervetto said. "We’ve been able to purchase some great things with funds raised through this event, including a merchandise trailer among others. We also use the funds for scholarships, including six $1,000 scholarships we’ve given away in recent years.”

Hole sponsorships are also available for $100 and the deadline for them is Friday, June 6.
