Hico High School has announced Vanesa Villeda as the class of 2015 valedictorian. She has a 3.9 GPA and answered some questions about high school and her future.
How do you feel about being announced as the valedictorian of your graduating class?
I feel very accomplished and proud of myself. All the hard work paid off.
What will you miss most about high school?
I will miss the great teachers and my friends.
What is your best memory from high school?
My best memory was when the power was off and Mr. Surley made the whole calculus class (Jessica and me) sit around his desk to hear the lesson.
What are your plans after high school graduation?
I plan to go to Tarleton State University and major in accounting.
What are you looking forward to about your future?
I look forward to being a proud owner of an accounting firm and having enough money to help out my family.
Do you have any plans this summer?
My plans for this summer are to learn how to drive and find a job.
