If you’re looking for a good workout this summer then look no further as the Dublin Lions Club will host their annual Irish Stampede 10-5-2K races this June.

The 14th annual event returns this year and will feature three different races available to runners of all experiences.

The 10 and 5K races will begin at 7:30 a.m. on June 13 at Wright Park near the downtown area and will cover the new certified race course. Maps of the new course will be available to runner available at registration. The 2k fun run will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by an awards ceremony at 10 a.m.

Registration for the event will take place on Friday evening as well as early Saturday prior to the races.

The Irish Stampede races are the beginning of day long events being held in the Dublin area in recognition of Dairy Month. For more information regarding the race or the events occurring afterwards, contact Mac McKinnon at 485-3680.
