BLUFF DALE – Aqua Texas donated $500 to the Bluff Dale Volunteer Fire Department (VFD). The contribution will support the ongoing operations of the organization, whose mission is to provide firefighting support and emergency rescue response in rural parts of the local area. The department’s staff consists of approximately 20 volunteer firefighters and support personnel from the surrounding community.
The department covers a geographic area of almost 90 square miles around Bluff Dale. Fire Chief George McCormick accepted the contribution on behalf of the Bluff Dale VFD along with Assistant Chief Drew Sibley.
Chief McCormick said, “We are grateful for the community support from Aqua and appreciate their partnership with the Bluff Dale VFD. With their help, we can continue our mission of providing firefighting and emergency response to Bluff Dale.”
Nola Farris, a Granbury resident and field supervisor with Aqua, presented the check to the department. Farris said, “Aqua is proud to support the communities we serve and the important mission of the Bluff Dale Fire Department. We are grateful for their dedication and commitment to public safety and are honored to join them in this partnership.”
