Stephenville High School hosted its annual talent show Monday with performances by students ranging from singing and dancing to comedy routines.
“(Proceeds) go towards all the pep rallies, football and just supplies throughout the whole year,” said Kristol Carter, SHS cheer sponsor.
Acoustic songs were sung by several students with others doing some skilled, fast-paced or ballet-style dancing and one student even sang the ABCs.
“I told some of y’all that if I got enough likes on my Instagram post, I would come sing for you,” said Trent Dietrich.
Students laughed as he belted out the schoolroom song at the top of his lungs.
The audience showed respect for fellow students who took the stage; clapping for each one.
“It takes a lot of courage to get up here and perform in front of your peers,” said Principal Stephanie Traweek.
