The Dublin City Council is scheduled to meet Monday night to make up for the regular meeting that was cancelled last week due to the illness of City Manager Nancy Wooldridge and other conflicts.
As is required by Texas law, the council will formally canvass the votes from the May 9th election, in which incumbent David Zinck was reelected and pass an ordinance making the vote official.
Mayor David Leatherwood will read a proclamation making May 17-23 Emergency Medical Week and the council will hear a report on the status of the city swimming pool from Lee Leatherwood and Jose Aleman.
Also on the agenda will be the setting of an Ordinance Committee and Finance Committee meeting to review and set fees for the new taxi service.
Other items are replacement of some portions of the cityís sewer lines and leasing a vehicle from Defenderís Supply for the Dublin Police Department.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers at Dublin City Hall, which is located at 213 E. Blackjack St.
