Children who attend Stephenville schools were given a registration form Monday for the new Community School Supplies Program. Those kids who received the form qualify for free and reduced lunches.
The registration form must be turned in to the child’s teacher by Friday, May 15, if families want to receive the free, grade-appropriate school supplies. This year the registration and distribution will be through the schools.
The supplies will be available for pickup from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Aug. 9 at Hook Elementary School.
Several organizations support this program including Faith Lutheran Church and school, First United Methodist, the First Baptist Church, First Presbyterian, Oak Dale United Methodist, Graham Street Church of Christ and H.O.P.E. Inc.
