Get your kids ready to build, act, dance, paint and more at the 2015 Art, Theatre and Photography Camp from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-4 p.m. June 8-11 at Stephenville High School.

The art and theatre camp is for four-years-old to sixth grade who will learn about theatre and art as they put together a musical called On the Radio. The photography camp will be for fourth-eighth graders and will teach them how to take quality photos as well as how to use Photoshop. Students will need to provide their own digital camera.

The cost is $65 for one session per day—it includes materials, a T-shirt and snacks—or $120 to attend both sessions.

“This year’s camp is history-based and uses music and drama scenes that go through the 1930s to 80s,” said Mindy Pope, SHS theatre teacher.

The kids will sing songs like Footloose, Boogie Woogie, Bugle Boy and other hits from Elvis and The Beatles.

All campers will come together for the final performance at 5:15 p.m. June 11 and photography students will also have their work on display during that time.
