The Stephenville City Council has approved the final plat of Golf Country Estates II.
Kenneth Dees of Irving engineering firm, Chalk Mountain, LLC, who made the initial presentation to the city council in March said, “This will be a 48- home development with every home having green space access along the [Legends] golf course. We’re looking at homes in the 1,800 to 2,500 square -foot range with prices between approximately $225,000 and $250,000."
He added that Trent Gay of Stephenville will be the developer.
The project has been undergoing some revisions before the latest updated plat was submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission and then to city council.
In a phone interview Wednesday Gay said he expects to break ground in June.
