STEPHENVILLE - Services for Dottie St. Onge, 73, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 8, at St. Brendanís Catholic Church with Father Matthew Sanka officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Stephenville Funeral Home.
Dottie was born in Troy, New York to Medard A. and Dorothy Ann Mayo Breault.
She married Armand J. St. Onge on Sept. 24, 1960 in Cohoes, New York. Armand preceded her in death on June 5, 1987.
Dottie served as a volunteer for the Auxiliary at Harris Methodist Hospital for several years, and did volunteer work while living in Salem, New York, as well as Stephenville. She was a member of St. Brendanís Catholic Church, and has lived most of her life in Stephenville. Dottie retired after many years at Norton Company.
Dottie is survived by her children, Kim Gariepy of Salem, New York, Kathy and husband Tim Melugin of Humboldt, Tennessee, Pam and husband Mike Stone of Stephenville, and Tim and wife Jeni St. Onge of Lewisville; grandchildren, Timothy, Monty, Dane, Justin, Michael, Zachariah, and Madelyn; great-grandchildren, Tanner, Rylan, and Harper, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and sisters by choice, Sandra Scott, Sue Keyes and Chauncy Piper.
Dottie was also preceded in death by a brother, Gilbert Breault; and a grandson, Landon Melugin.
