Day two of testimony in the capital murder trial of Eddie Routh resumed at 9 a.m. Thursday with Texas Ranger Michael Adcock, a crime scene specialist, testifying as the state's first witness.

Routh is accused of killing Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield at a shooting range at Rough Creek Lodge on Feb. 2, 2013.

Adcock said when emergency responders began CPR on Kyle, the defibrillator read a pulse.

Jurors are expected to hear more testimony from first responders who attempted to treat Kyle and Littlefield at the scene after their bodies were discovered.

Texas Ranger Danny Briley is also expected to take the stand Thursday.

Routh reportedly confessed to Briley during an interview following his arrest.

The E-T will have reporters inside the media room at the Donald R. Justice Center all day.
