Friends, love birds and those looking for a special event to attend on Valentine’s Day have LJT’s 11th Annual Valentine’s Dinner Theater to look forward to.
The event will be held Saturday at T-Birds Garage Pub Concert Hall at Melody Mountain Ranch. The event will include dinner and an acoustic show performed by singer/songwriters Mike Graham, Richard Leigh, Davin James and Larry Joe Taylor.
Doors open at 5 p.m. with Graham playing from 5:30-6:30 p.m. while guests are ushered in and seated. This is Graham’s second year to play at the dinner theater.
Dinner is provided by longtime friend of LJT Jo Bob Thetford and his family. They will prepare chorizo stuffed pork loin, green chili cheese corn casserole, southern green beans, salad, iced tea and assorted cheesecakes for dessert. A full cash bar will also be available.
After dinner is the anticipated acoustic performance by Leigh, James and Taylor. The three performers will share the stage in a song swap style show followed by an ending solo performance by Graham.
Tickets are $35 per person for the lower level and $30 per person for the upper level and include dinner and dessert.
According to Martha Taylor, about 100 tickets have been sold and there is still space for about 50 more.
“I’d like to welcome people to come out, we still have space available,” she said.
The event is 21 and older but exceptions can be made by reservation, Taylor said.
There will be a safe ride available to and from the venue for $10 per person for each direction provided by Leonard Leinfelder.
Spots are also available for overnight camping.
