Every year Shadd Cole, the current National Homeschool Player of the Year, has played high school football, he has participated in the state championship game.

And he and the Stephenville Knights are going for their fourth straight Texas Christian Athletic League, Division 2 title on Saturday.

The No. 1 ranked Knights, 8-2 on the season, claimed their spot in the championship game last week when they dismantled Killeen Memorial Christian 66-0 in a game called on the six-man mercy rule.

The Knights have scored 144 points and have allowed just eight in their two playoff games.

FAITH squares off against the No. 2 seed Fort Bend Chargers at 10 a.m. Saturday on the campus of Incarnate Word IUniversity in San Antonio.

The Chargers are 10-2 on the year, including a 52-12 semifinal win over Annapolis Christian Academy last week.
