In recognition and in appreciation of our veterans, Major George B. Erath 2679 chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy have made available a free 8x10 photo for each veteran pictured in the WWII and Korean Conflict photos taken at the courthouse.

These photos will be available at Miller Studio for pick up on Tuesday, June 24 and Wednesday, June 25 between the hours of 10-2.

"Men that served in these two wards saved the world for democracy and many gave their all," said Joyce Whitis, spokesperson for the event. "We appreciate the service of all of our military more than we can ever express, but we understand that they are all ready to defend freedom wherever it is suppressed. For this we will always be eternally grateful. We hop that these individuals will accept this gift as a token of our deep appreciation for them all."
