Erath County Crime Stoppers will begin selling tickets Friday for its “50 Guns in 50 Days” fundraiser. The fundraiser is co-sponsored by Star Arms. Tickets are $50 each for a chance to win a gun each day for 50 days from Star Arms.

“Only 1,000 tickets will be printed and once all of the tickets are sold, then the drawing for the winning numbers will begin,” said Barry McNellie, president of Erath County Crime Stoppers. “Ticket holders will be notified via email of the start date for the drawing. “

The daily winners are based on the exact order of the Texas Lottery Pick 3 numbers drawn each day at noon Monday-Saturday. Ticket holders may win multiple times throughout the event.

Tickets can be purchased at A.J.’s Barber Shop, Bradberry’s Best Building Supply, Bradberry’s Best Feed Store, Dowell Ace Hardware, Hay and Feed Ranch, Sweet Delights by Judy, Taylor Feed, Texstar Ford, Texstar Kubota and Star Arms.

Winners may pick up their gun at Star Arms if their number matches the daily winning numbers per the Texas Lottery Pick 3 at noon.

“The name listed on each raffle ticket must be able to pass NCIS background check,” said Cynthia Jones of Star Arms. “The winning tickets can be used for the guns, but the tickets have no cash value.”
