The classes of 1954 and 1964 will be recognized at this year’s annual Huckabay Community Homecoming.

Kenneth Pack will be master of ceremonies for Saturday night's program. He said the community asked for the Bosque River Boys and Elvis to make a return engagement.

“Everyone always enjoys their music and of course Elvis is just such a specialty act that pleases the crowd,” Pack said.

The event will begin at 7 p.m.

Sheryl Dowell is this year’s president of the homecoming activities which will begin with a brief business meeting at 11 a.m. Sunday. Following the meeting, Laquita Elston will read the list of those residents and former residents that have passed away during the past year.

A barbecue lunch will be served under the ancient live oaks that surround the centuries-old Tabernacle.

The Homecoming Committee will furnish the meat with visitors asked to bring side dishes of vegetables, salads and deserts. Iced tea and water will be provided.
