Splashville was a welcome sight for hundreds of kids last weekend who took part in the water park's season opening.
The water park opened Saturday and over the weekend nearly 700 people made a day of it.
"It was a great weekend," said D'Anna Green, manager of Splashville. "It was a little cloudy so I think that kept some people from coming out, but once it gets 90 degrees and sunny, we will be packed."
Splashville is now open from 1:30-6:30 p.m. daily. Admission is $5 per person for a full day pass. Kids two and under are admitted free and senior citizens and those in the military are $3.
Twilight admission from 4:30-6:30 is also $3.
Splashville will play host to a variety of fitness activities this summer including swim lessons, aqua zumba, water aerobics and lazy river fitness walking.
"Seeing the kids again is always fun," Green said. "We have a terrific staff and it's going to be a great summer."
