HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, ARK.- A memorial service for Ronald B. Freels, 86, who left to be with Our Lord will be held at 3 p.m. on March 22, 2014 in Hot Springs Village, Ark. at the Good Samaritan Chapel. Ronald graciously donated his remains to the Medical Education & Research Institute. He left this world surrounded by members of his caring family. He was reunited with Doris his loving wife of 63 years and his son Reed who both preceded him in death.

Ron was born in Drumright, Okla. He was a veteran from WWII and Korea. Ron graduated from Oklahoma University and worked in the oil business as a Petroleum Engineer until his retirement. Ron and Doris moved to Hot Springs Village, Ark. where they made numerous great friends and enjoyed a wonderful life. He worked as a volunteer for the VA for many years, assisting seniors with their income tax. He loved boating, golfing, social events and any type of family gatherings.

He is survived by his son Jay Freels and Wife Crystal of Houston, son Gary Freels and wife Susie of Burleson, daughter Cris Delgado and husband Dan of Dublin and son Tim Freels and wife Gay of Joshua. Ron is also survived by 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Ron will be missed tremendously. His laughter, humor and enjoyment of life will be his legacy, for his family and dear friends.
