Kiara Wright and Tarleton State are on a roll again.

Tarleton upset No. 5 West Texas A&M at home and dominated Eastern New Mexico on the road last week, and Wright was there to lead the way and earn her sixth weekly award from the Lone Star Conference this season.

Wright is the Women's Offensive Player of the Week for the third time. She's also been Defensive Player of the Week three times.

The latest honor for the senior forward from Pittsburg comes after she scored 26 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in the 71-69 win over West Texas A&M, then scored 14 and collected 12 boards in a 89-64 rout of Eastern New Mexico. She was 6-6 from the floor at ENMU and was 16-27 for the week. She was also 8-10 from the foul stripe.

For the season, Wright leads the LSC in scoring (20.8), rebounding (12.5) and field goal percentage (62.6). She now has 55 career double-doubles, second in school history. The record is 60 by Jennifer Washington of the NAIA-era TexAnns.
