Stephenville has done a complete about face in two years.

The Yellow Jackets started the 2012 season with five consecutive losses in a classic at Granbury. They started the 2014 season with five consecutive wins Thursday through Saturday.

The Jackets completed their undefeated stay in Granbury by erasing a 4-1 deficit for a 10-6 win over Mansfield Timberview Saturday night.

The fifth inning was the big one for SHS, as they scored seven runs to grab an 8-4 lead. Ian Horton singled to right before a walk and a hit by pitch loaded the bases for Alex Jimenez.

The second baseman unloaded a 2-run single to right, Daniel Bullard followed a force at home with an RBI single to center then Sam Weber hit into two-base error that plated a pair of runs.

Josh Bulla singled to right to bring in another score, and another two-base throwing error brought Weber across the plate.

Ben Martin, who took over on the hill in the fifth, got the win on the hill, while Brock Morrison, who has battled an injured wrist but had an early RBI single, worked a scoreless seventh.

The Jackets defeated Fort Worth Paschall 12-7 in the early game Saturday, highlighted by Martin's inside the park home run. Noah Hobbs was 2-for -4 at the plate with a pair of doubles and 3 RBI. Morrison scored three runs.

In Friday action, Alex Jimenez pitched six scoreless innings of relief as the Jackets wiped out an early 4-0 deficit in a 9-4 victory over Fort Worth Western Hills. They took the lead with a 3-run fifth and blew it open with a four-run sixth.

Noah Hobbs had the biggest hit against Western Hills, a 3-RBI triple. Sam Weber was 2-for-2 at the plate with a double and an RBI, and Daniel Bullard had a double, was hit by a pitch, drove in two runs and scored twice.

Jimenez struck out eight and successfully navigated six hits and a walk.

On deck for the Jackets is tournament play in Waxahachie Thursday through Staturday.

The following Tuesday, March 4, is Stephenville's first 7-3A game at Glen Rose, and the Jackets' home opener is Friday, March 7, against Alvarado.
