A sold out crowd attending Friday's Chamber of Commerce banquet mixed and mingled, dined on steak, bid on auction items and raised a lot of money for the organization that promotes business growth in Stephenville.

And they did it all with a circus flair.

This year's theme prompted some of the more daring 500 attendees to dress as circus performers.

The organization also honored its annual award winners.

Connie Snider was presented with the prestigious Beulah Brown Ambassador of the Year award by past recipient Marilyn Pipes.

This year's Rising Star Award went to Jeff and Jodi Weyers, owners of Beans and Franks. The Shining Spur Award was given to Fosterís Home for Children, and Tarleton State University was honored with the Blazing Boot Award.

Bruce and Kari Lanting, owners of the Lanting Dairy, were named Agriculture Producer of the Year, while the Entrepreneur of Agriculture award was given to Cowan Ag Solutions, owned by Bobby and Jessica Cowan.

Erath County extension agent Whit Weems was named Friend of Agriculture.
