Daniel Bullard, the 17-year-old son of Nancy and David Bullard of Bluff Dale, has very little free time. But when he does, the senior at Stephenville High School likes to sleep and hang out with friends on the baseball field. Bullard, who said his favorite classes are chemistry and math, plans to attend Texas A&M in College Station to study chemical engineering after graduation. While he stays in shape running cross country and pitching for the Yellow Jackets varsity baseball team, Bullard devotes most of his time to studying.

1. What advice would you give next year's freshmen?

Studying is more important than sleep. That's how you make good grades in high school and that sets a good base to get you far in life.

2. What is your favorite memory of SHS?

Being out on the baseball field (he pitches for the Yellow Jackets as well as playing some outfield) with my friends.

3. Who is your biggest influence?

I don't know because there are so many good people who've made an impact on my life that I couldn't name them all.

4. Who is your favorite teacher?

Mr. (Bruce) Nation, because his construction technology class was absolutely awesome.

5. Who would you say is your craziest classmate?

Noah Hobbs, because he's just crazy.
