The holiday shopping season isn't over just yet.
And for some, it's just getting started as many retailers roll out a slew of after Christmas bargains.
Wal-Mart has select items that are marked down 25 and 50 percent. One notable deal at the super retailer is a Nintendo 3DS XL for $199.96 - plus a $50 Wal-Mart gift card, with purchase.
Retail giant JCPenny is also dishing out the deals.
In a three-day, Thursday through Saturday, sale JCPenney will offer numerous discounts, which includes 30-50 percent off all bed and bath items in the store.
"After Christmas we're working to get ready for the spring season. Our customers are really going to receive deeper discounts after the Christmas holiday then before," said JCPenney assistant store manager Matt Johnson.
Shannon Mills, owner of the Blue Flamingo Studio, said sales at the end of the year are meant to clear out inventory.
"You're likely going to get a great deal after Christmas," Mills said.
Stephenville resident Teresa Diener said on the E-T's Facebook page that she will take advantage of the sales.
"I have one more celebration with friends this weekend," she said.
But not everyone shares the shopping spirit.
"I didn't look before and not looking after," said Melinda Brister. "With this economy, all the money I can make is going towards bills."
