Tarleton State University’s 20th Annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Showcase is back on after being cancelled last week due to weather.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, in the Barry B. Thompson Student Center ballrooms.
Shoppers can browse the tables of more than 40 vendors selling a variety of arts, crafts, and tasty treats. According to Ben Kunze, Tarleton Staff Council’s fundraising committee chair, holiday shoppers will find a variety of fare including woodcrafts, unique jewelry, home décor, beauty products, cookware and jams and jellies.?“It’s going to be a great and exciting year,” Kunze said. “We have a great vendor turnout projected this year and we hope to see our faculty, staff, students and community come out and support these local businesses.”?The annual event is hosted by the Tarleton State University Staff Council with proceeds from the sale of vendor tables supporting the Staff Council’s employee scholarships and grants program.
