Coleman hit a shot with 0.2 seconds remaining to defeat Dublin's boys 36-35 at Roy and Lynn Neff Gym Tuesday night.

"We missed some easy put backs and had some costly turnovers late that killed us," said Dublin head coach Richard Pringle, whose club's efforts were also hindered by a 5-13 performance from the free-throw stripe. "We have to fix the free throw problem quickly."

There were bright spots for the Lions, especially the play of Travis Blazi who scored 15 points and 11 boards. He was 6-12 shooting from the floor.

"He played his butt off on both ends," Pringle said.

Coleman pressed in the full court the entire game.

"We needed to see that," Pringle said. "The little mistakes we are making are fixable."

Other scorers in Tuesday's loss were Zoey Kendall with seven, Dirk DeVries six, Cade Hill three, Ozzy Kendall two and Abel Aguilar two. The Lions were without starting post Devan Thompson.

The Lions host the Dublin Athletic Booster Club Tournament Thursday through Saturday, weather permitting. Dublin's boys open with Zephyr at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. A win means they play at 7:30 p.m. Friday, while a Thursday night loss means they head to the consolation bracket at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Either way, they will have a second-round rematch against either Hamilton or Coleman.
