The Stephenville Study Club met in the home of RoseAnn Kincannon in Morgan Mill on Tuesday, Nov. 13.

Items of business discussed included an invitation to the 22nd annual Academic Scholarship Awards luncheon to be held at Tarleton, ideas for raising funds for the club's scholarship and an invitation to a Dec. 3 Tarleton concert where the funds raised will be donated to the Child Protective Agency.

Shereen Stewart, a paramedic with the Erath County EMS, spoke on the latest CPR advances in heart health. She used models to demonstrate how to administer CPR in order to increase the likelihood of a person surviving prior to a medic arriving.

The club made a monetary donation to the Texas Health Stephenville Hospital Auxiliary in honor of Shereen's presentation.

The hostesses, including Kincannon, Alan Clay, Phyllis Guthrie and Sylvia Huckabee, served pumpkin cake, nuts and spiced tea to the 25 ladies present.
