If you’re looking for a night of fun close to home, head to Dublin from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, where area businesses will participate in the first ever “Night on the Town.”
Dublin Chamber of Commerce executive director Karen Wright said local businesses have been busy preparing for the event and hope for a large turnout.
The fun begins at 4 p.m. when Mike and April Trusty take the stage to provide musical entertainment on the corner lot, located at the corner of US Highway 377 and Highway 6.
The Dr Pepper Museum and Soda Shop, Rodeo Heritage Museum, Historical Museum will all be open for tours, restaurants will remain open for dinner specials and a variety of retailers will also offer special deals for holiday shoppers.
Even the beauty shops will stay open late for a little extra pampering.
And don’t forget to sign up for a chance to win a prize. Drawings for prizes will take place every 30 minutes at the corner lot.

There will be a Christmas decoration class at 5 p.m. and a square dancing demonstration at Wright Park at 5:30 p.m.
