E-T Staff Report Golfer Boone Lasater claimed his first victory last Saturday, in only his fourth tournament as a member of the Dallas I-Tour.
Lasater completed the 18 holes at Buffalo Creek Golf Course in Rockwall in 77 strokes.
Lasater completed his busy weekend on the links with his second hole-in-one during a fun round with family and friends Sunday. He used a 7-iron to ace the 180-yard par-3 17th at Iron Horse in Fort Worth. The hole-in-one was witnessed by Boone's brother Tie Lasater, and friends Michael Scott and Derek Glossup.
Lasater placed in the money in one of his three previous tournaments, finishing in a tie for third at The Tribute Golf Links in The Colony. Next on his tournament agenda is the Tour Championship - the Dallas I-Tour's final major tournament of the season.
The Dallas I-Tour is part of semi-pro Texas tour that also includes a division based out of Houston. Two tournaments are held each month, with three majors highlighting the schedule.
