Each year for Telecommunicators Week, the Stephenville Police Department flies a yellow line flag over the department building. At the end of the week, the name of a telecommunicator is drawn, who then gets the flag. The flag is then folded and placed in a commemorative display. This year's flag went to Kerry Parsons.
