Alvarado - The Stephenville Junior Varsity Blue Team traveled to Alvarado Thursday night and showed no mercy on the Indians, defeating them by the score of 34-6.

In the first quarter, a 16-yard pass from Brad Picha to Taylor Holt set up a one-yard touchdown run by Mason Lewis. The extra point was good giving the Jackets a 7-0 lead.

In the second quarter the Jackets added to their lead when Malcom Jimenez punched it in from two yards out and the extra point made the score 14-0.

A couple minutes later, Jimenez struck again. This run was also from two yards away. The extra point made the score 21-0.

The Stephenville defense was solid despite giving up a 14-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter, but was able to block the extra point attempt to make the score 21-6.

Picha found receiver Daniel Noland for a 44-yard completion. That led to Lewis' second touchdown of the game, this time from 19 yards out. The point after hit the right upright making the score 27-6.

Picha put the last points on the board when he found Holt on the other side of a 19-yard touchdown pass. The extra point made the final score 34-6.
