The seventh grade Jackets and seventh Blue team from Henderson Junior High recorded a pair of easy wins against Acton last week, while the seventh Gold squad lost to Weatherford.

The 7th Jackets were led by Jarrett Stidham with four touchdown runs of 41, 24, 23 and 9 yards, an 11-yard scoring jaunt by Jack Rhodes and a two-yard TD plunge by Josh Gillespie in a 42-6 defeat of Acton.

Outstanding offensive players were Tyler Powell, Adam Saenz, Stetson Carlile and Brock Morrison, while defensive standouts were Gillespie, Charles Vanden Berge, Rhodes and Brighan Beaty, according to coaches.

The seventh Blue team used two touchdown runs each by Dominic Ward and Maddux Conger to race by Acton 26-6.

Offensive standouts were Conger, Ryan Bird and Jacob Berry, while defensive standouts were Josh Olivan, Noah Perez, Edgar Tobias and Chris Marzano-Redmon.
